HOW THE DCS-20 WORKS

 

DCS20 High pressure Cleaning System using high pressure and water to remove blockage’s and regenerate.

 

The DCS20 has multiple adaptors to connect almost all DPF’s from small cars to large commercial vehicles. With its Stainless steel cabinet style its make it very simple to connect any DPF inside the machine. When the DPF is attached inside the cabinet (There is a remote control winch inside to lift and move large heavy DPF’s), close the large doors and turn on the water heater and water pump on the control panel. After a few seconds the water will start to fill the DPF. Using the control panel again switch on the High pressure air. This will start to purge large bursts of air into the DPF forcing the water through the DPF whilst removing the soot ash and Carbon. This process can now be left unattended and the water supply is continuously filtered through a dual filtration system so waste is recycled. After 30mins (approximately depending on the size of the DPF) using the control panel turn off the air and water. Now turn on the Blower using the control panel, this will dry the DPF and remove all moisture. Disconnect the DPF and remove. The DPF is now clean and ready to go back on the vehicle.

DPF BLOCKAGE – REGENERATION

Usually approximately every 300 to 500 miles the DPF will regenerate by super-heating the filter to burn off the diesel paticles that collect there as soot.

Most of the soot is then expelled through exhaust as finer particles of harmless ash. However it has been found that the regeneration process leaves residual behind in the filter.

Each time a regeneration occurs, more ash will build up in the filter, at around 33,000 (on a car) miles ash can acount for 50% of the material blocked completely and the engine may stop working.

CLEAN-1
Specially formulated to safety lift any impurities from the internal working of the Diesel Particular filter. The filter is sealed with a bung (Provided with the DCS-16) and filled with Power Cleaner. This is left to stand for twenty minutes to half an hour. The cleaner reacts with the blockage in the DPF is then connected to the DCS-16 cleaning system to power wash the cleaner and all of the impurities out of the filter.
PROTECT-2
Featuring the latest Nano-Catalyst technology to keep your DPF cleaner for longer. Following the DCS-16 treatment the dried DPF is slowly fed the Power Protect fluid through the exhaust intake and rotated to ensure an even coating of protection. The fluid is absorbed by the DPF leaving a Nano-Catalytic causes soot to combust at lower temperatures(400 C rather than 650 C) slowing the build up of impurities blocking the DPF and increasing the effectiveness of the vehicle’s built in ‘regeneration’ burn off.
