HOW THE DCS-18 WORKS

DCS-18 High pressure air cleaning solution for Euro 6 truck DPF’s

The DCS-18 will clean the cartridge filters from all Euro 6 truck DPF’s. Full stainless steel body.Firstly measure the diameter of the DPF, then using the control panel choose the correct diameter size. Open the door and place the filter in the centre of the machine. When this is completed close the door and press the Home button on the control panel. This will set the high pressure air probe in the default start position. At this point you can use manual controls or automatic. When selecting automatic the air probe will move to the edge of the DPF using the diameter value entered earlier. The air flow will then start and the probe will go back and forth covering every part of the DPF and forcing the soot ash and Carbon through the filter. The contaminated air then goes through a triple filtration system and is exhausted out as clean non harmful air into the working environment. The machine will stop automatically and the DPF can be removed. The filter is now clean and ready to go back on the vehicle.

DPF BLOCKAGE – REGENERATION

 

Every 300 miles the DPF will regenerate by super-heating the filter to burn off the diesel paticles that collect there as soot.

 

Most of the soot is then expelled throught the exhaust as finer of harmless ash. However it has been found that the regeneration process leaves residual behind in the filter.

 

Each time a regeneration occurs, more ash will builld up in the filter, at around 33,000 miles ash can acount for 50% of the material blacked completely and the engine may stop working.
